They should be older than 12 weeks and younger than 5 months and of proven fertility (individually caged breeders with at least 2 litters). Sperm Cryo yields 16 straws of frozen sperm from 1 mouse line, with each straw holding enough sperm to fertilize the oocytes from up to 12 females. As an additional service, the facility will thaw a straw of sperm along with each frozen line to perform IVF.
